Summer 2019 Taking Stock New appointments to support New Zealand growth Several new appointments have been announced recently to support AMP Capital’s continued growth in New Zealand, and around the world. The New Zealand Fixed Income team has been bolstered with the appointment of Carrick Lucas to the role of Fixed Income Analyst. Carrick has over 20 years’ industry experience with signi cant expertise across economics and xed income, most recently with Kiwibank. The addition of this new role and other leadership changes recognises our commitment to deliver exceptional investment solutions for our clients. As you can tell from the Welcome section of this edition of Taking Stock, Bevan Graham has been appointed New Zealand Managing Director and Chief Economist. With over 30 years’ experience in both public and private sectors, including the last seven years with AMP Capital, Bevan will continue the strong momentum and growth in the New Zealand business. Bevan replaces Grant Hassell who has moved to a new role as AMP Capital’s Global Head of Fixed Income, based in our Wellington of ce. Grant will lead a team of 40 spanning Australia, the US, Hong Kong, as well as New Zealand, managing around $78 billion in assets for clients across the globe. This appointment demonstrates AMP Capital’s commitment to a global growth strategy, and is a great endorsement of the talent within the New Zealand team. !BACK TO FEATURES 7
